Meet the peaceful you.
In case you were wondering: no one is snapping fingers or making you do things you don’t want.
Hypnotherapy is actually one of the most grounded, inwardly quiet things I know. It’s simply a way of helping your system slow down, enough for the noise to fade so something deeper can speak.
In a light trance (much closer to being absorbed in a film or a daydream than being “unconscious”), we can access the part of you that isn’t busy surviving. It’s the part that remembers, imagines, revises.
Sometimes we focus on the inner critic, the voice that says you’re too much, or not enough. We don’t try to shut it up. We listen. Where did it come from? What is it trying to protect? Often, once it’s heard, it softens.
And sometimes, we simply build a space inside you that feels good to be in. A calm place. A strong version of you. A place to rest. Hypnotherapy isn’t about giving up control, it’s about creating a kind of inner condition where real change can happen, gently, from the inside out.
A lot of our pain comes from missing something essential: safety, attunement, kindness, protection.
Reparenting means learning to give yourself what you didn’t receive. We go back into the unjust moments of your childhood and we make them just.
“Because it is never too late to have a good childhood.”
No. You’re aware the whole time. You can open your eyes, speak, or stop at any moment. Hypnosis is more like a focused state of relaxation , you’re still steering.
Pretty much, yes. We all go into light trance states every day , like when you‘re absorbed in a book or lost in thought while driving. Hypnotherapy just makes use of that natural ability.
Yes. Hypnosis has been studied in a wide range of contexts , anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, stress. In many cases, it shows strong effects, especially when combined with other therapies.
Some people notice a shift after one or two sessions. For others, it’s more gradual. We go at your pace. You don’t need to “perform” or “do it right.” You just show up and be honest about what’s going on inside.
That’s totally fine. Hypnotherapy doesn’t require belief. If you’re open to seeing what happens, that’s enough. Your nervous system will decide what it’s ready for.
